We conducted a follow-up training programme on Improved Orange Cultivation Technique on 24th October, 2025 at Longjang (Thangal) Village, Noney District, Manipur. The programme was held at the Training Hall, Longjang Village, with the objective of enhancing farmers’ knowledge and promoting scientific methods of orange cultivation for better productivity and sustainable livelihood. The session was facilitated by Resource Person Mr. Solomon Kahmei (BSc Agriculture, CAU Imphal), who shared practical knowledge on orchard management, soil health improvement, pest and disease control, pruning methods, and sustainable farming practices. Farmers actively participated in the programme and interacted with the resource person to discuss challenges and solutions related to orange cultivation.
